DC is proud to announce the addition of Mitch Barrette to the Canadian team.

April 5th, 2011 – Vancouver, BC – DC is proud to announce the addition of Mitch Barrette to the Canadian skate team. After playing the role of “city host” inside Ottawa on last falls DC Pop Up Tour, it was a unanimous team decision to add Mitch to the footwear team.

To welcome him, DC Canada has produced a short video that showcases Mitch’s unique style and trick selection.

“I'm excited to have officially joined the DC Canada team. Its been something I've wanted to happen for a long time” said Mitch. “I’m definitely stoked to be on a team that supports skateboarding to the fullest”.

“If you've ever met Mitch or skated with him, then you understand his energy and enthusiasm, it is almost intoxicating. He's a great addition to the DC family, and we look forward to having him spend time with the rest of the DC skate team this summer.” Trevn Sharp, DC Team Manager.

Hailing from Ottawa, Mitch has proven himself as one of the most dedicated skateboarders inside Canada and has been featured on several editorial pages and covers across Canada’s top skateboarding publications.
