The Contest Deadline has been extended until October 10th, 2011.

’80s Video Challenge
Last year we issued our first Top Shop Challenge to skateshops across the country. Shops from B.C. to New Brunswick rose to the challenge, but in the end the quick wits and quicker hands of Fluid Sports in Maple Ridge, B.C. took the title and trophy by setting up a complete board in two minutes flat. This time ‘round we have a new trophy, a new challenge and another chance to prove your shop is top.

The Challenge
Film the best ’80s inspired video.

The Prize
-Full page ad in SBC Skateboard for your shop
-The Top Shop trophy

How to Enter
1. Channel your favourite ’80s skaters and film a trick, a montage, a deleted scene from Gleaming the Cube—whatever you want. Just make sure it’s ’80s inspired.
2. Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo and tag it SBC Skateboard.
3. Head over to our Top Shop page, scroll down and submit your link and view the other videos.

Deadline
The deadline has been extended until October 10th, 2011
The winner will be announced in our next issue.

Rules
-One entry per shop.
-Video must be no longer than three minutes, no shorter than 30 seconds.
-Winner will be chosen at the editor’s discretion based on creativity, use of ’80s theme and overall radness.
